Celebrating Our Public Schools Through the Voices of Wisconsin Students
Students across Wisconsin are raising their voices to celebrate our public schools—and asking you to join them.
We traveled 600 miles over the course of three days at the end of the 2024-25 school year, walking the halls of nine school districts and speaking to 30 incredible students that make up Wisconsin’s public education system. The result is a powerful video in which the students celebrate the value of our public schools—and ask us to continue supporting their futures.

NSPRA Award of Excellence
On June 10, 2026, the WASB’s Celebrating Our Public Schools Through the Voices of Wisconsin Students earned a 2026 National School Public Relations Association Award of Excellence in the Video-Single category. NSPRA’s Publications and Digital Media Excellence Awards recognize outstanding education publications, e-newsletters, digital media programs, radio/TV/video programs, social media, infographics, blogs and websites. The top award in each category is the Award of Excellence. Awards of Merit and Honorable Mentions are also given in each category.
